As the name suggests, the protagonist uses defensive abilities like parrying, dodging and deflecting in order to tire the opponents and then strike. You build up combos as you parry attacks and then unleash fatal counterattacks at the right moment. The game offers you the ability to set the difficulty level but not in the conventional preset sense. Instead you can customize your difficulty by messing with a few sliders that increase or decrease things like the enemy strength, number of encounters, resourcefulness and more.

The Wanderer gets a mech arm that absorbs then energy from incoming attacks and allows you to unleash cool looking offensive abilities and even grab and throw opponents. This arm can also be used to interact with the objects in the surroundings that can reveal secrests and even tactical advantage.

The art style, 2D graphics and soundtrack all attribute to the nostalgic feeling that you will get just by looking at the trailer that has been masterfully synced to fight sounds.

While we are almost dying to play the next installment in the series, since the last game that came out all the way back in 2010, we also believe in Rockstar's better judgement. So until as we wait for this sequel to Red Dead Redemption, that is actually a prequel in terms of the storyline, we will just be in San Andreas!
