Another thing that particularly clung with us is the background score which almost has the quality of a big budget Hollywood movie. So kudos to the composer Simeon "Zimone" Hristov! In case, just like us you also develop a fondness for the soundtrack then that will also be available on Steam:

Wild West themed indie first-person shooter, Sky Noon to enter Early Access in Q2 2018

"It's high noon...i mean, Sky Noon!"

Independent game developer Lunar Rooster and indie games partner Reverb Triple XP have officially announced that 'Sky Noon' will be launching into Steam’s Early Access program in Q2 2018. This first person shooter has been set in a quirky Wild West set high in the sky.

Taking place in a reinvented Wild West universe where the frontier floats among the clouds, powerful cartels crave to control the most precious resource in the west: water. Players take the role of hired gunslingers that battle opposing fighters across floating islands in the sky.
There are no health meters in Sky Noon; instead, to eliminate enemies, players use various super-power compressed air weapons to send them flying over the bounds of land and into the abyssal sky. The game gets a host of equipment like:

  • Grappling hooks
  • Lassos
  • Steam-powered jetpacks
  • Jump pads
  • Teleporters

Sky Noon is the two year long adventure started by lead designer Craig Taylor who, along with the other “core four” of Lunar Rooster, began creation of the game while studying game development at Auckland’s Media Design School in New Zealand.

“The feeling of bringing your first video game project to life is absolutely surreal and amazing,” states Craig Taylor, lead developer of Lunar Rooster. “The idea was really simple – let’s make a first person shooter that felt familiar, yet different. We’re delighted that there’s gamers that wanted this type of experience and the team is really looking forward to the feedback from players to improve Sky Noon during the Early Access development.”

Female Dwarves added to HammeHelm, game to be out of Alpha testing soon

Recently the developer of 'HammerHelm', posted an update with regards to the inclusion of female Dwarves in the game. The update replaces the existing placeholders and adds more depth to the town building mechanism as you can assign Dwarves with different traits to different works and buildings.

Each Dwarf will have traits that determine how good s/he is at certain jobs and activities. Lazy Dwarves work slow, strong Dwarves can carry more resources, meticulous Dwarves will craft better items, and sleepy Dwarves might take a nap while on the job. Every time you place a home, you'll be presented with three Dwarves and you can choose two of them to join your town. The female Dwarves will also get a range of hairstyles to make them look different from each other.

The new male Dwarf is not forgotten and is almost done too. The male Dwarves get a nice selection of beard to choose from as well!

HammerHelm is an action RPG game for PC and also has town building elements. The game is still in the Alpha state but is available to play through the Early Access program on Steam. You can get HammerHelm right now for Rs 479 (USD $ 14.99) but the prices will increase once the game is finished.

You can get the game from Steam here - http://store.steampowered.com/app/664000/HammerHelm/

According to the developer, SuperSix Studios, the game will take anywhere from 6 months to a full year to complete.
These features are just a small part of the Big Update, which will include more buildings, more jobs, a totally redesigned town economy (including allowing you to get resources like gold and ore from the town) and a ton more. The developer plans for the Big Update to bring HammerHelm out of Alpha and into Beta.
