Assassin's enter Monster Hunter World!

If being able to hunt enormous monsters while being followed by a cute and helpful cat companion was not enough for you, developer Capcom have added a new event to 'Monster Hunter World' that gives you the opportunity to do the aforementioned activities dressed as an assassin.

The event is now live on console versions of the game but will make its way to the PC platform at a later date. Currently console players can take up the SDF: Silent, Deadly and Fierce quest and hunt two monsters, each of which yields a Senu's feather. Now for those that do not know, Senu is the name of the companion bird of protagonist Bayek in Assassin's Creed: Origins. Collecting the feathers allow player to grab the Bayek costume and an assassin hood. The armor is layered which means that players can wear it over existing equipment without changing the stats. The hood boosts your running, climbing and stealth stats. On top of this, it also boosts damage of stealth attacks.

Capcom is also planning a Witcher crossover soon so players can be on the lookout for that.

Sean Bean Elusive Target available for the next 15 days

A new video was dropped detailing some of the ways in which you can assassinate Sean Bean in 'Hitman 2'.

For the uninitiated, Sean Bean appears as the first Elusive Target in Hitman 2. Elusive Targets in Hitman games are one off targets that appear during a defined period of time and players get one go at killing them. Should the player fail in any way, then the target escapes for forever.

Sean Bean is an accomplished actor but is also known to die in most of the movies he stars in. Ironically enough, his character in the game is called Mark Faba, a.k.a The Undying because he is apparently super hard to kill. Players have 14 days to get to him and there are a variety of ways that one could approach him.

Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame 2 to release on February 8, 2019

The official Monster Energy AMA Supercrtoss videogame, 'Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame 2' (a bit of an odd title if you ask me) will be releasing on February 8, 2019. The game has been developed by Milestone and will be launched on several platforms including PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

The graphics look pleasing but there is no gameplay footage to judge how the game handles. What we do know is that the game gives you an open world to test your skills on single cylinder, two-stroke bikes. There is a track editor that lets you build your own challenges and where you make all the rules on how you start, what gear you have and more.

Episodic sci-fi game Elea receives 6th major update increasing FPS limit and hint systems

The people behind the sci-fi adventure "Elea" have been constantly listening to feedback from gamers and have thus released the sixth major update for the game. The game has been in Early Access since end of April, which has already resulted in an abundance of useful feedback from the community and previewers. The final version of "Elea - Episode 1" is releasing this summer for Xbox One and Steam.

In order to make the gameplay more engaging and user friendly the movement speed has been increased and numerous hints and objectives have been added. Additionally, a brand new hint system was introduced, giving the player more detailed objective information.  A “how to play” help screen has been added to guide players as well, accessible from the settings menu and at the start of the game. Another major improvement is that the FPS limit has been improved, now enabling up to 120 FPS, making the game run even more smoothly. Also, better screen space reflections have been added, in order to improve the graphical performances and make the surreal world of Elea look even more gorgeous.

Elea is being developed by Kyodai and published by SEODESCO and is an episodic sci-fi story telling adventure with particularly good soundtrack (as we noted in an earlier article). Marten Buijsse, Community Manager at SOEDESCO said, “Since the Early Access launch we have received a lot of community feedback and we’re very happy that so many people wanted to pitch in and help. The game has made great progress in these few months, but we’re not done yet! For the remainder of the Early Access period we will continue to update the game in accordance with player feedback, all the way until we have a perfect version 1.0.”
