Tropico 6 release date pushed back to March 29

Construction and management simulator 'Tropico 6' has had its release date pushed back to March 29, 2019 for PC, Mac and Linux. This has been done to provide the developers with more time to refine the game based on the feedback from the Beta testing. The game will  also make its way to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles at a later date.

The standard edition of the game is available for pre-purchase and allow buyers access to the closed beta. There is a 10% discount on the game till January 25 on Steam that brings the price of the standard edition to Rs 989 (~USD 14) and the El Prez Edition to Rs 1,034 (~USD 15).



As a thank you to the loyal Tropico fans who have supported the development of the game, the first major Tropico 6 DLC will be offered for free of charge to anyone who has pre-ordered the game by 18:00 GMT / 19:00 CET on 10th January. The additional content will automatically be added to qualifying players’ game upon release in Q2 2019.
