As the name suggests, the protagonist uses defensive abilities like parrying, dodging and deflecting in order to tire the opponents and then strike. You build up combos as you parry attacks and then unleash fatal counterattacks at the right moment. The game offers you the ability to set the difficulty level but not in the conventional preset sense. Instead you can customize your difficulty by messing with a few sliders that increase or decrease things like the enemy strength, number of encounters, resourcefulness and more.
