Square Enix has released their latest offering in the Final Fantasy series of games, Final Fantasy XV for PC. The game was available on consoles for more than a year now and has finally made it to PC titled 'Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition'. Along with this the publisher has also released 'Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition' for the consoles. Both, the PC version of the game and the Royal Edition, are similar in terms of content and get all the DLCs released up until now and a few more additions on top.

Some of the new features of these two releases include:
- The new Insomnia City Ruins map that contains new side quests and enemies. According to PlayStation Blog the Director of the game, Hajime Tabata, has said that fans who have watched Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV movie will discover rewarding things if they spend time exploring the map.
- New bosses - Cerberus, Omega & Rulers Of Yore
- New ability - Armiger Unleashed
- New first-person camera mode
The PC version of the game enjoys further perks such as:
- High resolution support. The game can natively run at 4K resolution and can also bbe configured to run at 8K
- HDR 10 support
- Mod support
- AlienFX Integration which syncs the lighting effects on Alienware peripherals with the game actions.
