2nd Emotional Games Awards results announced; Hellblade wins with a fell swoop

The 2nd edition of the Emotional Games Awards, something that we had been monitoring closely, took place on Friday, March 2 in Laval, France. With the sole purpose of awarding video games that bring out the most complex emotions from within the players, the list of nominees was filled with worthy contenders.

, the sequel to 2016's The Division has been announced recently in a blog by Julian Gerighty, Creative Director, Massive Entertainment. Massive Entertainment is the developer behind the first installment and they will be working on the sequel along with Ubisoft Reflections, Red Storm Entertainment, Ubisoft Annecy, Ubisoft Shanghai and Ubisoft Bucharest (phew! that's quite a load of people).

The fact that The Division has been getting a healthy dose of updates regularly shows that the game is still loved by many and has resulted in Ubisoft green-lighting a sequel. The game will be built using an enhanced version of Ubisoft's Snowdrop engine, which was used to make the first game.

In anticipation of the game, a new achievement system called Shields has been introduced. When players earn these "Shields" they essentially unlock additional rewards in The Division 2 when it launches.

That is about all we know for now but more will be revealed at E3 2018 which will happen in June.

Mobile MMOARPG, 'Legacy of Discord – Furious Wings' has received a new update which will enrich the weapon and guild system by adding powerful and visually stunning weapons in the brand new Divine Armory and guilds will now have a new gameplay called Guild Camp.

The Divine Armory
The Divine Armory, is available now at the bottom of the main interface. The Divine Armory is stocked with four Illusionary Weapons:

  1. Inferno Ultima
  2. Shadow Ultima
  3. Light Ultima
  4. Radiance Ultima
Players need to spend the corresponding Meteorite Ores to activate the respective weapons and unlock bonus attributes. Each Illusionary Weapon has its own Weapon Skill that is available for unlocking when activation and level conditions are met. Weapon Skill will not be automatically used when auto-battling, therefore in those scenarios where the Boss is extra tough, the Weapon Skill will come in handy.

Guild Camp
Unlocked when guild reaches Level 6, Guild Camp is a place where guild members can start mysterious maps and Bonfire which will yield great rewards. The Camp Bonfire starts every night, and when it starts, all players in the Guild Camp area will receive a bonfire reward every 60 seconds. The Bonfire can be upgraded to have its rewards increased. Gold and Diamonds can be used to buy firewood to upgrade the Bonfire.

The fifth main title in the Far Cry series, 'Far Cry 5' is all set to release on 27th March 2018 and e-xpress Interactive Pvt. Ltd has announced that people who pre-order the game from offline  retailers will be eligible for a Far Cry 5 themed T-shirt that has picture of 'The Father', the antagonist of the game. Will Hero from ZPLAY launched for Android and iOS

Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition and Royal Edition released





Square Enix has released their latest offering in the Final Fantasy series of games, Final Fantasy XV for PC. The game was available on consoles for more than a year now and has finally made it to PC titled 'Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition'. Along with this the publisher has  also released 'Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition' for the consoles. Both, the PC version of the game and the Royal Edition, are similar in terms of content and get all the DLCs released up until now and a few more additions on top.

'Way Of The Passive Fist', a retro looking 2D beat 'em up game, has been released for the PlayStation 4 and PC. The game can be bought from Steam for Rs 459 and for Rs 1,123 on PS4. It will be launched on Xbox later today.

The Story follows a mysterious Wanderer who is traveling across the planet Zicron V. You can gain XP and level up as you play through the game and even unlock skills to improve your fighting abilities. Apart from the usual story mode, there is also an arcade mode  that you can try after you finish the game or in between story missions to improve your skills. The game also gives you the freedom to completely remap the controls on your controller to the extent that you can play with just one hand!
