If you happen to be playing the game post midnight on the last day of 2017 then a visit to the Auction House in the capital of Stormwind or Orgrimmar will be a pleasant surprise. You will find the usual setup replaced with a party themed one.

There are multicoloured floor tiles, pompous music and a buff that makes you dance the moment you enter the AH. Not only this, the AH NPCs have also taken leave to enjoy the new year so no boring trading stuff to be done while the party is on. While you dance inside the 'Party House' (that's what I will call the AH for the rest of the article) you can also get a chance to be summoned on stage and steal the limelight for a while as people admire your sweet moves! But beware because if you try and force yourself on the stage then you will be teleported back on the dance floor.

Every time you are summoned on the stage, you will be blessed with the Happy Feet buff that will occasionally set your feet tapping to unheard music and also recover 6% of health and mana every second. This buff will stack to a maximum of 7 days.

So enjoy folks, wherever you are, in the real world or in the virtual!

Monster Hunter: World to be launched on 26 Jamuary, 2018 in India; now available for pre- order

The highly awaited title in the Monster Hunter series, Monster Hunter: World will be launching in India on 26 January, 2018 and is now available for pre-order. The game is available for the following prices:

In Monster Hunter: World players will be able to battle gigantic monsters in epic locales and take on quests to hunt monsters in a variety of habitats. Killing monsters rewards materials that you can use to create stronger weapons and armor in order to hunt even more dangerous monsters.

As of now the game is only available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One but a PC releases is scheduled sometime later. The new game also features larger maps and four player co-op gameplay.

Robo X - The Lost Energy available for pre-order

Robo X, the sequel to the original RoBox game is now available for pre-order. The game is simple to pick up and understand by all ages, yet challenging enough to remain fun and entertaining.

In ths new game RoboX needs to save Robo City from a complete power blackout. Players can navigate through 100 levels looking for the data clusters needed to restore the lost energy. Traverse the levels by moving boxes around, using elevators and moving platforms, avoiding rockets, waking up sleeping enemies and much more.

Kickstarter funded fantasy MMORPG game, Ashes of Creation is now officially accepting pre-orders via its brand new storefront. Pre-Order Packs start with access to Beta 2, and go up to Alpha 1. , and the higher tiers come with access to both Alpha and Beta test phases, as well as a generous amount of gametime and exclusive cosmetic items.Each month, the pre-order packs will contain new cosmetic items. When you first purchase a pre-order pack, you will get that month’s cosmetic items. Players can purchase cosmetics within the next months’ packs as add-ons, but once a month passes those cosmetics will no longer be available. The earlier you buy-in, the more chances for cosmetic items you’ll have.

Additionally, Kickstarter backers and Summer pledge driver backers will be able to purchase cosmetics as add-ons without having to purchase a pre-order pack. And of course, if you purchase a pre-order pack, you’ll get extra entries into future Alpha test drawings.

Pirate themed, open world game Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion set to release in spring 2018

A new Adventure Time game is set to hit the stands in the spring of 2018. Titled as 'Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion', the game would be available on all major platforms including PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. In this pirate themed open world video game you will be able to play as Finn, Jake, Marceline, and BMO to explore fan-favourite kingdoms, and meet the well-loved characters from Cartoon Network’s popular TV animation series.

The game starts with a flooded Land of Ooo, in which familiar kingdoms are cut off from each other by rising waters. In their newly constructed boat Finn and Jake set sail to investigate what the junk went down. The Escapist 2 gets treated with a free Christmas themed update called Santa's Shakedown

Award-winning international games label Team17 has today launched a free content update for its sandbox prison-escape game The Escapists 2 with the arrival of the Santa’s Shakedown prison on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC (although the much awaited Nintendo Switch version is still nowhere to be seen).

The free Santa’s Shakedown update includes:

• A new festive themed prison to escape
• 2 new ways to break out
• New craftables such as the mince pie and Xmace
• Festively themed jobs including toy making, tree decorating and sorting letters to Santa

Participate in the For Honor dedicated server open testing and win bonuses, even if you do not own the game!

Ubisoft announced that all players, including those who do not own the game , can take part in the first 'Open Test' of the new For Honor dedicated servers infrastructure from December 14th at 13:00 UK time (6:30PM IST) to December 18th at 01:00 UK time (6:30AM IST) on all available platforms (Xbox One, PlayStation 4 & PC). The Open Test for dedicated servers is the next step in bringing the new online infrastructure to the game in 2018. Participants will also receive bonus in-game rewards based on their participation and can also be entered in a raffle to receive exclusive For Honor rewards.

The Open Test will take place on a custom test client fully relying on dedicated servers. Participants will be able to use the full roster of heroes in 1v1 Duel, 4v4 Dominion and 4v4 Tribute modes. Those who are interested in participating can pre-load the test client for free on all available platforms starting December 13th at 13:00 UK time. All in-game rewards earned from participation in the Open Test will be granted to the players’ main game accounts after the event, and will carry over for new players who purchase the main game. The transition to dedicated servers is an improvement eagerly awaited by fans and a major milestone in Ubisoft’s continued support on For Honor. “The team has worked tirelessly on the implementation of dedicated servers, while at the same time reinforcing and improving the current online infrastructure. Popular sci-fi franchise Star Wars celebrates 40 years of existence with the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The original trilogy consisting of Episodes IV,V & VI have become a cult classic and thereafter spawned many products under the Star Wars banner including movies, cartoon series, action figures and more. IGDB recently put up an infographic about the video games within the Star Wars franchise. Conan Exiles launch date & Collector's Edition details announced

Funcom announced that Conan Exiles, the studio’s open-world survival game set in the savage lands of Conan the Barbarian, will be finally launched on May 8th, 2018. Currently available in PC Early Access and Xbox One Game Preview, the launch will see the premiere of Conan Exiles on the PlayStation 4 as well. The announcement was accompanied by a brand new trailer which also offers a glimpse at some of the new content that will make its way to the final version, including an entirely new biome and a new combat system.
