Popular sci-fi franchise Star Wars celebrates 40 years of existence with the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The original trilogy consisting of Episodes IV,V & VI have become a cult classic and thereafter spawned many products under the Star Wars banner including movies, cartoon series, action figures and more. IGDB recently put up an infographic about the video games within the Star Wars franchise. There are a total of 110 titles (excluding DLCs, learning software etc..) and franchise is one of the few that has seen a release on almost every gaming platform and generation these past 40 years, making it a formidable case study to visualize such data.
